About Latigic

Talia Hansen founded Latigic to create a one-stop shop for startups, small companies, and nonprofits. This initiative was born from a lack of services for women and underserved communities that encountered barriers and challenges in starting a business and not addressed in traditional business centers or consulting firms.

Latigic strives to be a leader in advocacy for women, rural areas, and underserved communities.

About Talia

Talia was a team member in the openings of The Leonardo Museum and The Museum of Natural History in Salt Lake City.

A powerful component of learning play is encouraging thinking, giving us the courage to be curious. Extensive training and mentorship opportunities made her experience in the industry life-changing and have continued to influence her career. She fabricated exhibits and devised programs that supported and adapt to different learning styles and engage with children and adults. As a skilled curriculum writer, she continues to help develop programming for business centers, conferences, private organizations, nonprofits, and museums.

Over the past few years, Talia has worked to be more specialized in grants for rural communities. Her work has helped secure funding through grants for organizations, small businesses, nonprofits, and educational institutions in Grand and San Juan Counties.

In 2022, Talia launched training courses to help those without experience understand how grants work, where to find them, and how to prepare their organizations for successful funding pursuits. She aims to use education as a tool for expansion, helping more small business owners, nonprofit organizations, and agencies leverage grants to propel them forward.

Described as an instructor who can demystify complex concepts for business owners and entrepreneurs, Talia frequently guest instructs for business programs.
